Fundraising for youth groups

Youth groups are almost always need money. Fundraiser held to fund mission trips like tournaments, museums and concerts are some of the needs to be met through fundraising. Others include the need for uniforms, sports equipment and art supplies, musical instruments, and more.
There are many different ways your youth group can raise the funds they need. In this article, I'll explore some of them with you and try to help you avoid some of the pitfalls. You will benefit from my experience and I will help you avoid some of my mistakes.

Start with the right dessert. I tried to use candy as a fundraising tool more than an opportunity for the youth team of more than one.

The advantages and disadvantages of using candy fundraising and a youth group.

Advantages: Cheap and candy can be sold for a substantial profit for your youth team. Everyone loves candy, so it is easy to sell, especially if you go with the brand of candy. Candy is cheap enough that most people have enough money in their pockets to buy the bank.

Disadvantages: background candy. Trust me on this point. Candy melts and when it does, your profits melt with it as you try to clean everything melted everywhere. Members of the youth group eating sweets and when the parents have to pay for any candy left to eat, and receive phone calls. Trust me on this point. Get a lot of phone calls. Smell sweet. Trust me on this point. Wherever you store candy and smell like candy forever. Biggest steal candy from children younger kids and parents end up paying for new candies and receive phone calls.

Coupon books are another commonly used group of young fundraising.

Advantages: coupon books are filled with free stuff and everyone loves free stuff! Your youth group can raise up to $ 10 per coupon book, they need to lower sales to achieve their goals.

Disadvantages: Everyone is always the coupon book last year. To use any of the coupons. They had not when you go to a place where they might be able to use it. I went to the door to sell coupon books and was a man hand me 7 unused coupon books and contribute. He said that if he sold them, and I would be able to collect more money than if you bought one this year. Coupons expire. They cost about $ 10 to $ 15 for the book, but of course the kids in your youth group will not lose any of them and their parents will be in touch with you as with dessert.

Basically, all your youth group takes fundraising comes with responsibility and they all have their advantages and disadvantages. However, if you are looking for a product that contains the following functions, and I think you'll have the opportunity to successful fundraising more for your youth team.

1. Choose products that do not dissolve, expire, rot or perish.

2. Choose products that do not contain a significant cost per unit, regardless of profit.

3. Choose products that everyone uses and have many uses. They will remember something is very useful for them to continue supporting your youth group.

4. Choose products that do not require much storage space.

5. Choose products that are popular with the favorite things such donor or Major League Baseball team logo football on it.

If you follow these simple rules, the fundraising team guys will be easy to manage, and will not end until stuck with a large number of products is to store and your storage space and smell is not, you will not need to clean up the mess, and best of all, parents of participants in your group of young people can not contact you.
